medicated and numb
Floating,
Sinking,
No pain,
Feels lovely again,
Feeling dopey,
Though not mopey,
Comfortably numb,
Like a baby asleep sucking its thumb,
Content,
No reason to vent,
Floppy,
Movement sloppy,
Dazed,
Not crazed,
Submerged in bed,
Resting my weary head,
Fighting sleepiness,
Not good I guess,
Content,
Sleep being most virulent,
Off to slumber,
Falling like lumber,
Dreams,
As reality falls apart at the seams.

I was on them due to a very bad back ache, I wrote the poem when I first started the medication, was telling how I felt at the time. I only use when it is prescribed by the Doctor
