I’ll still hang in your wardrobe
We don’t have much to have to hide,
I don’t have much to keep you by my side,
But you’ve found an obsession with my clothes
Closet dreamer lover
Got me
on
my
toes,
She’s No movie freaking actress,
But she got me remembering lines
And lies
I told her years ago
Possibly five
But I don’t want,
I don’t want fire
Nor do I want rain,
I need a spring breeze,
She’s a petite little thing
But I’m not on her mind
I want
I want to be tied so tight-
ly
Still she sticks me on a hanger in her wardrobe, oh
yeah she likes to keep me Dangling
Needs me wrapped around her finger
Knows her way around my triggers
So shoot me with your EYES CLOSED
Baby
Just take both of your eyes off of me
So I can admire the view more subtly
Then have me gone
Just shoot me with your eyes closed.
Make it easier for me,
not to touch
You have shoes, half the size of mine,
Only you, listen to the radio on time
To hear the song of the moment,
That keeps you moving
Across your bedroom floor
The dresser is full, you’ve got my bowtie in the very top draw
Along with pictures of your boyfriends
That you’d keep on your nightstand
Till they mad your heart deformed, I know its hard.
But you don’t want,
You don’t want fire or rain,
Nor a spring breeze,
You don’t want anything
And I’m probably not on your mind
I want
I want that thought to stay with you all night
Still she sticks me on a hanger in her wardrobe, oh
yeah she likes to keep me Dangling
Needs me wrapped around her finger
Knows her way around my triggers
So shoot me with your EYES CLOSED
Baby
Just take both of your eyes off of me
So I can admire the view more subtly
Then be gone with me.
Just shoot me with your eyes closed.
Make it easier for me,
not to touch
Dreams are surreal,
But they’re something,
It’s hard to sleep with your feet off the ground
While your heart is still pounding.
I wonder if you remember where you put me,
Or wondering whether or not I’m still waiting?
Dreams wont give me answers
I want to see you dance girl.
Shoot me, I don’t mind, but do it, how I like.
Fire away, take your pick,
Of the weapon you’ll destroy me with.
You’ve got the means and the motives, the time and the place.
But close you eyes so I can look at your face
You haven’t changed at all;
still so beautiful.
I’ll still hang in your wardrobe; I’d love you to wear me. Wear me, wear me out.
