Always bet on the grey greyhound.

Faith used to be like a seed you planted,
now it's like betting on a dog
that has an 8:1 chance
and your already 9 races in.
It's not questioning and wondering anymore
it's blindly accepting it even if the facts
have already been presented
and forgetting the previous logic
because it's better off that way.

I'm not just talking about religion,
it's also in relationships,
friendships, jobs,
we're all backing that 8:1 chance 9 races in,
and acting like it's a sure thing.
