Strawberry Blood

The splendid swirl of a strawberry shortcake,
Is topped off with delicious whipped cream,
And placed in the center of the dinning room table.
The guests are lured into it's sweet smelling charm,
Hoping the hosts will give them a piece,
Lucky for them, their prayers were answered,
And each guest was rewarded with a slice on a platter,
Jimmy, Stephanie, Bobby, Lindsay,
Gloria, Thomas, Jessica, and Jacob,
Eight innocent newly made friends,
Eating cake in the neatly furnished den,
And there is no complaints from the friendly uests,
Nothing but compliments on the wonderful cooking,
The polish off each exquisite bite,
With a glass of champagne, and a toast to the night.
But the hosts don't even sit down,
And they don't even join in on all the fun,
The stimulating conversations and the humorous jokes,
Were missed.
And just like that..
Jimmy, Stephanie, Bobby, Lindsay,
Gloria, Thomas, jessica, and Jacob,
One shot, two shot, three shot, four shot,
Five shot, six shot, seven shot, more..
Dead for sure.
They can no longer have their strawberry shortcake,
And it's all because of their shocking demise,
The blood and the strawberries mixed together,
And created a confection that no one would ever,
Eat.
It's too bad they didn't know who their new friends were,
They were lovers, plotters, and evil schemers,
But they were most importantly..
Murderers.
