Alone in Darkness

Alone in the darkness... I've never heard silence so loud.
Sleepless nights, my thoughts spin around in circles...like a ballerina cursed to dance forever.

The mirror shows me a demon, but you see an angel.
Blue crystals cry and death seems to be present on my mind.
Drained from confusion, beauty is my despair.

Echoing in emptiness as my heartless chest wishes for revenge.
Broken in the cold, a mystery in a make believe world.
Time has seemed to stall...and everything goes all wrong.

Slowly decaying, my body is a skeleton...stuck as a soul with no way out...no one tries to set my tortured mind free.
So it seems I'll be stuck here, until eternity ends.

Ravens sing me a lullaby as I drift away on my sail boat.
The sun does not rise to my blue crystal eyes...
For I am alone in darkness.
