fairies wear boots
Toe-tap the roots
into Sycamore
as I anoint her belly,
a conduit of bottom-most palpitation.
Put away the pen my dear,
creation needs no life support
and
anthropologists poison mirrors.
We are the edge,
everywhere an ammonite
skin no longer separates
vision,
is not divided.
Do not deny
when the cursor
again becomes a point
Let not the secularism
of rationale
destroy the positivity
that defies proof.
(Proof, is for the pussy
too self aware to post this)

"Toe- tap the roots" is beautiful. It's a very pagan image. Well, it is to me anyway. I think it ties in nature and love in a very neat little parcel. I've got some rather bizarre Wicker Man style worship going on in my head. I like that it's provoked that kind of image.
"Skin no longer separates
vision
is not divided"
I can't help but feel there needs to be some punctuation after 'vision' just to break up this sentence. I found myself stumbling on that when I read it.
Quite a beautiful read all round.

Title drew me in and brought back to mind my 8" platform boots worn with attitude in the punk rock days.
Much of my youth was toe tapping roots and slowing enough to BE part of nature.
"skin no longer separates vision" brings a smile. Thanks for sharing

love to ad a smile!
thanks for reading and commenting Ken.
the original title was "the pixies ate acid, and dreamt of us" it was an even flakier write that was a bit too much romance...don't mind the over the top cutesy or romantic if it does get bogged down in mushy...I scrapped a lot of it and I guess wanted to give it just wee bit more tough ness...so I borrowed the title from Black Sababth..cheers bro, god to see ya

Hello Mr. LB (grins)
Had some family business to take care of, so I have been absent a bit and wanted to do some catching up today.
Darlin, of your latest four, this one holds weight, as well as sway with me.
Your lines are interesting, and yet simply put with just a touch of romantic thrown in for good measure. Although a Sabbath appreciator lol I would go for another title ;) something in a similar vein perhaps. If I didn't have a monster headache at the moment, I could probably be a wee bit more helpful. But I still didn't want to pass by without a word.
Lovely read Hun :)

thank you Maggie for leaving the few words.
at a weird spot at the moment...wouldn't say that I am spinning my wheels, because I have been working, just lost a bit of the clarity in my concepts I think....i'll push through, and always appreciate your thoughts, thanks again.
ps. haha, yeah, don't love the title, meant to change it, guess I got complacent and left it

I'm with johnrot on that one, definitely a line that stayed with me a long while later. Cheeky number this, enjoyed greatly.

dig it Kaatho, as a writer that I enjoy and respect a good deal, its particularly nice to get a nod of approval from your camps direction.
yes, anthropology has plenty of groovy aspects and I am admittedly overly harsh to it...but I do have fairly negative connotations as well that can help illustrate some things in certain writes...at least I hope so,,,
thank you very much for reading and commenting
