Drunken Adventures
Wiping the corners of my mouth clean
Smudging a swiped stain on my sleeve
Assorted colours it seems
Baffling indeed, since a sandwich was my last meal
Frowning brows ripple new wrinkles
Upon a previously unflappable forehead
Mind Determined to unravel this deep mystery at hand
Or at sleeve I should have said
Chuckling to myself
I begin my "war" against gravity
1...2...Shit I can't do it
After a grand 5 minutes
Eventually managing to pull my body back into a good standing
the ground keeps pulling me back
First on the right side then the left
Swaying with my heavy feet rooted down there
A goofy grin on my face while my mind circles around itself
"Oh well"
Looking but not really seeing anything
Multiple person shaped outlines ricochet of an initial silhouette
Everything seems hyper active
Tables running from chairs
then they stop again
This is disturbing, yet somehow intriguingly awesome it has to be said
The walls dance like brazilian asses
The ceiling twisting like a tornado in the desert
Lifting my hands in the air
What's going on now? Ill never understand
But I'll appreciate this lovely place I'm at.
Putting one foot in front of the last
I stumble along the path in search of my bed
Then I hear a bang
I'm Flat. looking at the ground and its looking back
finally bringing myself to stand again
I look at the floor and grumble to myself
"Who put the damn ground there"
Falling face first into the receiving arms of the fortress I call my bed
Rolling over and arching my hands behind my head
Trying to make sense of everything that's happened
I can't really remember
But all I do know is it had to have been epic
Smudging a swiped stain on my sleeve
