Surfing the surface of serendipity

She was a fallow fawn
and not just because
i like to type those words
It was just so apparent,
even in her early twenties
she entered the bed so timorously
as i reached out my arms
and guided her gates for heaven
while plunging the obelisk
that so many have worshipped
before her so she could learn
the beauty of obsession
so that soon, with
the frantic panting mixed in with
the sickly scent of her floret;
she leaves my room
a claret deer.
