The void

Thoughts of anguish fill my head
as the days draw nearer for me to leave
My heart is heavy, filled with dread
no amount of sunlight can light my day
Memories not yet formed can not survive
the distance of seperation facing us

Mindless reasoning does not provide
a relief of any kind for the hurt yet to come
How do i let you go and save your heart
from the ache i know will come
It took so long to find a love so pure
that made me laugh and love again

Such a wonderfull person i have yet to know
so it breaks my heart to set you free
May love and happiness find you again
and may you soon smile with someone again
As i live from you in a place far away
with cold oceans and empty voids facing me.
