Hell hath no fury like the day we met...
Eye lid parting from eye lid
Sight suddenly lit with enlightenment
Watching on As the scrolls of prophecy unfold
as it opened,
mystique glowingly ricochet off a silhouette, Beauty the like of which man has yet to behold
Livewire blood currents
Flooded through my veins and spiraled around my heart like we lost lovers
Trickling between emotions I hold sacred
Where hesitating temptations hide in shyness behind the drapes
She spoke a speak
I could neither read nor perceive
I could hear but I was caught Lost adrift somewhere between her startling beauty
And that fact that she's speaking this speak, To me...
Everything she said
Every twist of her hair
Every tilt of her head
Every crack of a smile kept drawing me into her like water on desert sand
I can't explain it to ear or eye
It like somewhere in space and time
Between the earth and skies
Our souls twisted and turned until it danced into each others arms, forever intertwined
Fate weaved its brush stroke across this perfect picture
Breathing a fresh heave of color into my dull vision of the future until I seen her
Back and forth my thoughts would swing
Hardly sure if my eyes are deceiving me
But then I blinked
And saw a thing
But before I could react or think
A Diamond shaped hollow tip shot apart the portrait from a trigger on her finger
hugging her left hands fourth finger, an engagement ring
My heart shattered
All my hopes and dreams ground to ashes
Expressionless anger rippled in search of answers
But ultimately just echoed back with more questions.
I was left in the middle to console myself
With my heart in my hands and empty questions.
Reminiscing on what could have been...
Together...
Even if I only just Met her...
