Abandon Hope.
Working my hands to the bone,
Orchestrating a revolt,
Biting my lip,
The blood drips like a broken tap.
Do you know?
My restless heart is about to explode,
The bones in my body ache to the sound,
Of a creaking pair of teeth.
I abandon hope,
Like an admiral abandons his fallen ship,
I took for granted the life I once had,
Now I’m swamped in misery.
I once believed in my dreams,
But now the wilted flower,
That lies before me,
Reminds me of the decaying place,
I called home.
The artistry shown in that painting,
That hangs above my bed,
Is astounding, complex,
And admirable,
It enlightens my senses,
For a split second,
That’s all I need.
Orchestrating a revolt,
Biting my lip,
The blood drips like a broken tap.
Do you know?

The bones in my body ache to the sound,
Of a creaking pair of teeth.
