Into the unknown
I was walking in the fields.
All was quiet and unmoving
grey clouds filled the sky.
I could have walked longer,
but suddenly a great chasm
appeared in the ground.
I stared in bewilderment at
this seemingly bottomless
pit. As I approached it,
gut wrenching fear took
hold of me. My whole body
shaking, I still took the
leap. And I fell, and I keep
falling. Into the darkness
forever.
