Ever Eluding If
If we're all one
And one for all
Then who has won
After the war dogs call
If we're all blind
To truth, oblivious
Then how do we find
Lies insidious
If you auction yourself
And beg the hounds to buy
Then do you consider your sell
Something to hold high
If you keep trying
To question
Then how can you be denying
A sure fire suggestion
If...
No
You are running in circles
And I'll still try to help
But you never try to spiral
Farther from opportunistic jail
It's a word that eludes
And I'm tired of chasing thoughts
If all in one is true
Then I think I'd rather not
And one for all
Then who has won
After the war dogs call
If we're all blind
To truth, oblivious
Then how do we find
Lies insidious
If you auction yourself
And beg the hounds to buy
Then do you consider your sell
Something to hold high
If you keep trying
To question
Then how can you be denying
A sure fire suggestion
If...
No
You are running in circles
And I'll still try to help
But you never try to spiral
Farther from opportunistic jail
It's a word that eludes
And I'm tired of chasing thoughts
If all in one is true
Then I think I'd rather not
