a remembering loss

A grand mother she was.
my Mam Maw as well.
thankful she no longer suffers
in this life i know as hell.

i couldnt imagine not knowing my own name
a convelesent home
alhziemers to blame

trully missed, trully great
i want to tell her how much i love her
its a lil to late

but one day in heaven
we will sing Johnny Cash
rembering the great things in life
where your forgetfullness
dont last

so when you see this worried son
know im grand to you
ill pray to Jesus
you see that it gets through

i have a glass of milk
and yes i added ice
even when i dissapointed
you lectured me so nice

Elvis Pressley, Carl Perkins, and a Hank Willams tune
sung by greats
better by you

i love you Mam Maw
theres still a sparkle in your eye
rest easy in heaven
and look over my life.
