you came into my dreams
filling my eyes with yours
you seem so close
I can almost feel your breath
against my skin
I can see you so clearly
see the smile in your eyes
can't believe you are so near
I reach
out to find you
cause it's like you're really here
we linger there so gracefully
it takes my breath away
held captive in each others eyes
there are no words
to say
then memories come flooding in
and wash the time away
to have you here
so close
it is but a moment in time
so quickly does it
go
before I can utter a sound or word
or let my feelings show
you gently brush my hair aside
your eyes grasp mine
as if to hold on
as I gaze up at you
a smile sparkles there
and traces of memories
flash before my eyes
it's as if there is
something you want to say
I try to move closer
to see what it can be
