Fever
I lay alone in bed
Fever running through my head
Curtain closed, colors drain
Candle dim, falling rain
Pale skin cold and gaunt
Final breath before I'm gone
Sure to be a raspy one
Silent curse, fading sun
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
I lay alone in bed
Pillow stained with sweat
Sickness lingers in the room
Air is stale beneath the gloom
Flies swarm to the light
Decay takes deep inside
Lifeless husk, empty shell
Soul departed one that fell
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
Fever running through my head
Curtain closed, colors drain
Candle dim, falling rain
Pale skin cold and gaunt
Final breath before I'm gone
Sure to be a raspy one
Silent curse, fading sun
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
I lay alone in bed
Pillow stained with sweat
Sickness lingers in the room
Air is stale beneath the gloom
Flies swarm to the light
Decay takes deep inside
Lifeless husk, empty shell
Soul departed one that fell
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
Oh fever that took my life
In death I sleep
Oh earth receive me now
Bury me 6 feet
