Insects.

The woman’s lips part at
The garish camera flash.
The man conceals teeth behind
Sore, unused walls:

Been married less than twenty minutes
Picture perfect,
New-age idols.
They were dressed in Tux and unborn:
Mother’s milk
Never tasted.

Blue ol’ Envy struts his stuff,
A sharp, new knife
For a borrowed wife.
Gutted to death in twenty minutes
Slasher flicks
Ruins dresses.

Pappy’s Cameras
Spread the bloodshed.
Shutterbugs

Leech to blood-red:
Whether it be
The palate of flesh
Or the comatose carpet
That conveys the blessed.
