Poetically Eloped

His pen can talk...
I hear the words uttered in my heart
Whispering at me to be led by its movement
With each written out word, my life is displayed
And I cringe at the thought of his words being brought to life
Painting vivid scenes of what his pen demands

He recites his beautiful words to me
We mingle & laugh after his poetry
I'm drawn, he's sparking up chemistry
We're alone in a room full of energy

He's taking photos, answering questions
Filling his contact directory
I'm posing, signing autographs
Waiting for him to return to me
Living separate lives in the same industry
We were two stars praised for our artistry
Poetically flowing in the same state
She a city girl, he's up north miles away
But in this night their minds connected erotically
When he randomly chose to vibe out about me
