~Iron Bars~

 

So this is goodbye. I guess I was a fool. I believed your words you said were true.

I don't understand how a heart can love and hurt so much...even if we have never touched.

Around my heart of hurt and pain, the iron bars will go in place. My life will go on with a little bit of grace.

Never again do I want to feel the darkness of the heart.  It holds so much hurt from our being apart.

I will try to find just a little light to mask my scars and hold my feelings in tight. You'll never again see my true love be thrown... out the window and stepped on like a stone.
