Make room shadows of love
You have long come and gone
A new light has now appeared
To play me a new love song
Well remembered are you all,
Songs and tunes of play
Hazy grey you have become
Sweet songs of yesterday
Stay softly calmly drowned
In my scarlet memory heart
For a new golden light to hear
Means we must now apart
I miss you not shadows of love
In the grey misty past
You have taught me well enough
For this new love to last.
