gone
saddest part of life
so much can go unexplained.
like a blue
shadow,
or a dreary
rain.
the pain may get faint,
but it never goes away.
left are memories,
and parts that glow.
but how life calls the day out,
i guess we will never know?

the rhetorical question in the end makes the poem complete. the strong images of the blue shadow or the rain are used in the best possible way
