I'm a Grown Up!

 
I don't want to go to bed,
I'd rather stay up and play;
what do I care if I'm sleepy
and cranky the next day?

I'd rather have lasagna
than any sweet you've got
but if I have to cook myself,
it's Kraft Dinner from the pot.

Fresh clothes straight from the dryer
so warm, it feels so great,
but my bedroom floor's not full yet
so laundry can just wait.

When I see a new toy or game
I'll buy it if it's neat
who cares if there's no money left?
I'll have too much fun to eat!

Being a grown up is so cool,
no one can tell me what to do!
And I'm off to take a nap
so move on now, we're through!
