A Peaceful Savior
How can I reap the benefits of this greedy world
When my heart cannot accept a loving embrace
How can I reap the benefits of such fruitful opportunities
When my heart is the bloodied cage I lay within
The only escape is through sacrifice
A tribute I cannot easily make
Must I give my all to escape myself
There must be a peaceful savior
How can I accept such kind gifts from such kind intentions
When my outstretched hands are around my throat
How can I feel your loving embrace
When my skin lays bloodied by my own doing
I will cut my throat to be rid of these voices that scream my instructions
I will cut out my heart to be rid of every pulse you beg me to feel
Will I appease your hunger, Your thirst for my destruction
Or will I dig myself a deeper grave, In view of the tears on your face
