Dreaming?!?

I stumbled in the middle of the night
Woke up dreaming and you were gone
I looked around
Everything was unknown
In the pitch dark surround

I looked at myself in the mirror
I saw a stranger
Through the dark tunnel of life
Looking for the light
Hoping to find my way out

A passing by stranger smiled at me
I thought it was strange
Was he as lost in this dark tunnel of life?
Was he looking for special someone?
Some precious thing that he had lost?

I got lost trying to figure out
Just searching and wondering
Then I stumbled
In the dark tunnel of life
Searching for the stranger
That took away my heart with his smile

Should I go back?
Should I turn around?
Would I see him again?
Then I stumbled trying to figure out
Found myself dreaming
In the dark tunnel of life
