I saw your face across the room
Our eyes met then I swooned
We met again on our terms
Love blossomed and then it bloomed
We made mistakes as everyone does
We cleared them up and went on again
Someone stepped in from below
And boy you dealt me one big blow
For a time it all went well
Then our love was doomed and went to hell
