For My Grandpa

May your soul rest in peace,
in the company of family passed.
May I remember all you taught me,
until we meet again at last.
May you remain present in my life,
giving me the strength not to fear it.
May I always conquor strife,
knowing you're here in spirit.
May I tredge forward ever learning,
to be as great a man as you.
May my problems all be solved,
thinking "what would grandpa do".
May generations come to pass,
carry on in your tradition.
May they all follow suit,
catching fish when they go fishin'!
