Part of me has broken.
Part of me has died.
Brutally ripped open.
I'm torn up inside.
I can feel it in my chest.
Depression kicking in.
I knew that I would try my best,
But I knew I wouldn't win...

Short and sweet, but with a sour ending. It's a well written piece, but I have to admit that I am a total sucker for a poem that leaves itself wide open for interpretation, exactly as this one does.
