Time

Time is the only equalizer of life
Not money, fame, or power
Time has no emotions and follows only one rule
It is constant
Nothing can affect it
It neither goes faster or slower  
Nothing causes more destruction than time
Time makes the few good parts of life go by quickly
And makes the too often bad parts slowly torture us
The only way to escape time  
Is when time has taken its toll on the body
And one seizes to exists
But even then have we beaten time
Or has time beaten us
