Side by Side

 As you know I'm not one to shy away from revealing
my inner most thoughts, I seem to find this easy when
I speak with you, Maybe thats why I'm so sure that
how I feel about you is so real, And yes I have questioned
this over and over in my head as you probably have as
to why I love you the way I do. The intrigue and infatuation
were there at the start this was evident from me, But
it grew over time, I always knew you were there, Sometimes
side by side, Sometimes a little way back in the shadows,
I made sure my trail was easy to follow it didn't come
as no surprise or even one that anyone should feel
embarrassed over, I love, You love, It feels ok to me,
In fact I'm glad you held on. I've never loved anyone
the way I love you, I can't explain, My words fail me
when I try to tell you, I don't say it as much as I
would like to, though I'm one who believes it is too
easy to say I love you every five minutes, It gets
diluted and just a word to shout out in passionate moments
I like to feel when you hear me say it then you know its
from the heart.
  You must think why me? sometimes. Having others
doesen't make you unattractive and thrown on the heap as
if part of the unwashed. To me you are beautiful in looks
and your thinking,I have been down this road before remember,
I would welcome them with open arms as if my own, It's
not something I know little of. I fell in deep with your
thinking first this you know, The interests the fun and
laughter, The way we seem to spark of one another as if
we were side by side in the same room, It were never
about sex, I have no issues or hangups to what I'm sure
would be as it will be if we stayed on this path. It's
a case of walking before we can run, Try not to batten
down the hatches too tightly, If I don't feel your there,
that my texts fall to the ground then I would be swept
under and away, keep it as tight as you feel you need to but
leave a gap, I need to keep knowing you feel the same. It's
all about time and I will patiently wait, There's no time
limits for true love, I do understand my love, It's not a
case that you can just walk away, Be at ease I'd always
be there for help or advise if you asked, you never need do
anything on your own if you didn't want to, For you my
baby I would wait patiently everytime. Everytime I would
give everything to you and more, It's not an affair we
desire, This we can both agree on, But a yearning of
togetherness, To be happy with each other.
