Temporarily (Some Jail Shi*)
I cannot deny that it was jealousy and suspicion
I was absorbed in the fear that these four walls made my man go missing
It may have been nothing, he could still be faithful
But the sudden loss of freedom makes your mind think hateful
“I hate that he did this” and “I hate that he did that”
But the minute you achieve freedom, you’ll be flat on you back
Arguing on the phone is taking you out of your swag
The looks from other prisoners make "the real you" come back
You agree with everything he’s saying, although you hate being passive
Holding your tongue is killing you as he shows you what an ass is
Hang up the phone saying the "love you’s" and other emotions
Walk back to you bunk only to smell the cards you posted
Without hesitation you begin writing “the letter”
It may start off cruel but it gets better and better
Confusion clogs the mind when you’re not in total control
So the love you once shared with him should be “Temporarily” put on hold
