Searching.

I've been searching,
Under a starless winters night.
This loneliness, a cold reflection of the storm in my veins.
Slowly killing me.
One could only hope.

I've been searching,
Under a blood red moon, in the stormy seas of the pacific.
Your footsteps disappearing along the crests of loveless wave after wave.
Oh Gods, that suffering should be so extensive.

I've been searching,
Throughout trails and tunnels,
From the highest peak of hope, to the deepest valley of repose.
Tracing the lines, like a knife through butter.

For a minute, I thought I'd found you.

I've been searching,
Through fields of cotton
Through a crowded space between plastic, storming through with the hunger of gods.
I
Got to the
Bottom
And

Would you believe?

It was then,
I had finally found you.
