Ache
My Love, oh my love
How far you have gone!
I long for your return,
To be held in your arms again.
An ache has set so deeply,
Into my very bones.
It is all in want of you.
My blood burns, bittersweet
Whenever I think of you.
My heart yearns,
And I pine for you.
My loneliness eats at me,
Like fire and sulfur.
Harsh and bitter tears,
Fill my mouth with
Their vile taste.
I will beg the very stars
For their mercy.
If only they might
Give you back to me
How far you have gone!
I long for your return,
To be held in your arms again.
An ache has set so deeply,
Into my very bones.
It is all in want of you.
My blood burns, bittersweet
Whenever I think of you.
My heart yearns,
And I pine for you.
My loneliness eats at me,
Like fire and sulfur.
Harsh and bitter tears,
Fill my mouth with
Their vile taste.
I will beg the very stars
For their mercy.
If only they might
Give you back to me
