Whatu Ataahua - Beautiful Eyes

Eyes are all different shapes and sizes

Brown, hazel, grey, green and blue

They are the window

To deep inside the wonder of us all

They are the record of things seen and unseen

Eyes are the repository of experience reflections

They emote of their own accord

And feel and tell and weep and laugh

Eyes can lie or love or hate yet

Also express our inner selves and

Also untold stories like a wind that cannot be captured

It is said they are the window of the soul

I say, so it may be, but they are more

Because in my eyes there is something deep

That will not go unnoticed forever

I see you purerehua

Do you see me see you?

Bath with me naked tuiti pi

In the warm river of

My vision if you dare

Do your eyes

Close… Shut them

So you can hear

The music there?

My eyes

Are

Blue.
