Vibrant Red
Nobody gets in here again
This heart is fucking closed
With shutters down, the sign says no
To any questions posed
Now padlocked shut, the key is gone
It skitters down the drain
Too many times laid broken
It cannot take more pain
No more this heart be filled with love
But shrivelled, blackened, dead
A rotting piece of lifeless flesh
Was once a vibrant red
So take this heart and tear it out
Cast out this sad disease
Then thrown upon the flames of grief
With ashes blown upon the breeze.

Yeah, how many times haven't we seen the shutters DOWN and windows havin a CLOSED sign up? Weird, hey.
Yeah, gotta let that sunshine in, honey.
Second line....pretty hardcore...ripped at me a bit:

Is exactly what that heart will be, when we eventually perish, not so? No use getting all hasty to rot now, right?
