Best of luck
and
remember
time
(s) gone
before this moment,
I ask you
please let go
of others voices
as those sounds do not belong to us
nor can we hear
them clearly
from a distance
anymore,
your eyes look
yet say nothing
so I light a candle
and listening with your shadow
we are shown, again
our coastline
the rocks and salty waters
roaring
shifting sands, stones, memories
around, beckoning us
to walk outside
being part of...
I remember tasting the waves
and airs
as they changed
with each movement
as we hung on
yet changed, somehow
given momentum
from somewhere, pulled
across our shoreline
towards those dark rocks
without even a simple breeze
encouraging us
the mountains, black
clearing high heights
gifting us our first shadow
then
I remember, and
remind you with my eyes
which
this time are met
through salt waters, blown
and
remember
time
