From the Haze
Sirens whisper silent, sweetened, slander
Surprised that you never saw it coming.
Turned backs, hiding, no one knows their manner
Silver slick grins, you better start running.
Brown eyes, extraordinary true lies.
Account for the lonely salute.
Frame the photographs, go ahead, ask why.
Downtown, people like us do they recruit.
You're the best I never had, put far away.
Safely inside your suit in my head.
Someone in what's left of our lives will stay.
Asking where we went, our hearts filled with cold lead.
Relentlessly, devils plague us today.
Never forgot what I needed to say.
