Remember the way I looked when I climbed that tall, tall tree?
Remember the deep, rich, color of the blood when I feel and scraped my knee?
Remember when we were four, and we wanted to be bumble bees?
Remember that water balloon fight and I commanded you to flee?

Do you remember that my favorite color was blue?
Do you remember how I'd waste your time everyday looking for my forever missing shoe?
Do you remember how I swore almost every word I said was true?
Remember how we played hide and seek and I'd come and find you?

Do you remember how my favorite flower was a rose?
Remember how I'd jump in front of your camera a strike a pose?
Remember how I'd laze back in the hammock and doze?
Remember how when we went to the movies we always claimed the middle row?

Remember how when you were sad, sometimes I'd be the only one to care?
Remember my closet full of clothes, that drove you crazy when I couldn't decide what to wear?
Remember my eyes, that always sparkled with mischief and challenged you to a million dares?
Remember how you looked into them, and I wondered what you saw there.

Remember that day, out of the blue, when you asked what my last wish would be?
