and perceiving is always varied

and is often deceiving
and very misleading.

I used to work for a company and their motto was "Perception is reality". Not going to bad mouth here but this is a well known company that treated its employees like crap (at least in Florida) by hiding behind the perception bullshit. In my opinion (and observation) perception is a one-sided story.

Of course it is. That's part of the point. Everybody perceives the same things in different ways. Perception IS reality, and everbody's reality is different. Just because some douches used it and twisted it around, as douches often do, doesn't make it inaccurate. Now your perception of perception itself is different than others because your personal experience changes the way you look at (perceive) things now..... even a simple poem.
