"Fall"

 Days are shorter the nights become cool , Time to put on a hoody and close down the pools ~ All this summer beauty is a sign of death and decay , the trees will remain but the leaves will blow away ~ They no longer glimmer in the setting of the sun , this is one of the first signs that summer is done ~ The echoing wind and the branches sway , as it's picking up speed scaring the birds away ~ Shadows are growing , while less light is showing ~ Fall has arrived , but only for months it will thrive ~ Nature displays her last summer fling , before her long winter sleep swings ~ B.
