In the last two lines:
by giving me hope
you still want me.
Is the speaker ALLUDING in the last line that he's giving hope, by still wanting her ......or.....
Is she just assuming and STATING what appears obvious to her: he still wants her.....?

The last 2 lines are referring to him giving her hope that things will work out because despite their troubles he still wants her.
