Candle
Her hands fragile
Her body weak
Her legs thin
Embrace with such a soft touch
can this moment last
will I forget
The exact feel
the scent
I remember it all
remember
the last time
only time
our arms wraped
together
years without
in such a simple light
put out now
a fast end to an age of hope
a lost battle
for someone full of strength
her legs
won't move
her hand wont shake
longer than now
a numb voice
a reality
how nothing changes
how your body will grow cold same as it grew weak
underneath the dirt
Now you are gone
and it all seems so thin
the air
can I breathe without distilling your slumber
can I cry
without waking your cold body
I wonder where you are
how it is
what awaits
is it all as dark as it is here
is reality beyond belief
does logic take control over hope
can faith change mortality
Her body weak
Her legs thin
Embrace with such a soft touch
can this moment last
will I forget
The exact feel
the scent
I remember it all
remember
the last time
only time
our arms wraped
together
years without
in such a simple light
put out now
a fast end to an age of hope
a lost battle
for someone full of strength
her legs
won't move
her hand wont shake
longer than now
a numb voice
a reality
how nothing changes
how your body will grow cold same as it grew weak
underneath the dirt
Now you are gone
and it all seems so thin
the air
can I breathe without distilling your slumber
can I cry
without waking your cold body
I wonder where you are

is it all as dark as it is here
