Legislate  
Triangulate

It comes down to violence  
various shapes and forms  
we embrace it so  
it is the new norm  
  
We cringe at the loss of little ones  
then wish the head of state an untimely demise  
so thrilled when a service person makes it home  
applaud leaders to make taking a foreign life  
computerized  
  
Again not advocating one hundred new laws  
but dang is it really true  
states make it easier to buy a firearm  
then to vote  
are we safer if we make it mandatory  
all have a gun to tote?  
  
The number one country that sells  
weapons world wide  
  
Identify  
Assault  
Eliminate  
  
and on Xbox you can do it with pride  
  
How long before we address mental illness  
have we all bought into the lie  
that by building more prisons we are safer  
let reality's grasp slide on by
