Without you, I am lost.
My heart aches for you
My appetite for life gone.
My tears fall like rain
The sky opens up
I fear I will be washed away in the flood.
I find solace in nothing
But the warmth of your embrace.
I long for your lips
To see your face.
You tell me you love me
And yet you walk away.
You expect this perfect person;
I'm afraid she doesn't exist,
Not in me at least.
