Standing Next To HER . . . .
I saw you standing there,
A coke in you hand and your pants sagging.
I saw you standing next to her,
And then came the nagging.
I fell in love with you,
In this hopeless town.
I was once in love with you,
and now I can stop looking down.
You had the most beautiful grin,
Like something I'd never seen.
You had such envious ways,
Who knew loving you was a sin.
I used to love kissing you,
For your lips I did adore.
I truly dread ever meeting you,
I wish I didn't love you anymore.
I saw you standing there,
with that baby in your arms.
I saw you standing next to her,
Never knew love would cause me so much harm.
