Friend or Foe
Causing pleasure
Leaving hurt
A brief release from reality
Suffering a constant reminder of hurt
Calmness overcomes body
Storm raging in mind
Twitching to use it
Leaving blood in its wake
Smiling wickedly
Vampire like fangs
Calling soothing words
Underlied with deceit
Waiting for its next victim
Someone full of self hate
Wishing to control slivers
Of their life
So we wonder if it's
Prison or Freedom?
Good or Evil?
Friend or Foe?

Evil is all around us... sometimes things are not so plain to see... but for the most part we have to accept it and go on... make friends of your friends and friends of your foes...
