A little closer to the fire
It's ok to feel the warmth
Like the comfort blanket we carry
Let it cover over and protect us from our fears
No harm would befall one so beautiful
A little closer would pose no danger
But, watch your step
no leap of faith required, Jumping ahead, no loaded gun
Keep a space you're comfortable with
A small step would be a good thing but not needed
A good thing we already give praise for
we swim already in this devine moment
one I could bottle and preserve
to open in times needed

I hear you calling
I feel the beat of your wishful desire
A beat I'm comfortable to dance with
The steps I'm not so sure of
as we build our confidence
to dance with faltering steps
we can do together with our imagination in full flow
