Purple Dreams

Castle dreams she'll soon be found
Royal trumpets sorrow's sound
My love tried to flee her light
Purple dreams ensconced her sight

She's denied her marbled truth
Haunted walls await her proof
Ghosts who cry all night and day
Souls she'll find who've lost their way

Now her servants never sleep
For they know what castles keep
Purple victims, dreams enslave
Secret whispers from the grave

Castle nurtures death and greed
She has buried sorrow's seed
Killing love her dark requires
Reigning Purple's true desires

Heir to her ancestral rule
As my touch impassions cruel
Now my love you'll never leave
Castle cares for sorrow's seed

Castle dreams again she's found
Hearing love's quiescence sound
There she sleeps in Purple dreams
Here where nothing's what it seems

Castle dreams...
