A well-written, clean and considered short piece. Each line clearly has a lot of feeling behind it, and there's no waste here whatsoever. I liked your assertion that there's no such thing as coincidence.

thanks man :D there was this one schizo friend i knew years back (his name was jack too as a matter of fact) i wrote a poem about his sister its called thumb sucker i'm not sure if it's posted here or not.. anyway whenever something even mildly coincidental happened like a street light would flicker or shut off when he was passing by it he'd always say "coincidence? i think not" so that's where that thought came from but the way it is with me and laura there's a lot that keeps occurring between us that it all seems beyond just coincidence so i'm warming up to (other) jack's idea

i've enjoyed reading the muse sequence so much that i almost felt sad for not having more to read!

I don't even know if they all go together really but they were all written around the same note to someone and i guess i was lazy and gave 4 poems 1 name haha.. glad you liked it so much :D
