I've knelt upon glass
to pray to...
nothing.
Such is devotion
displayed by
fools.
I've thrown my loyalty
into false
hands...
At least now I
feel better about
myself.
Blindly I've followed
by pure will
of faith...
...but I have yet to
see my
leader.
I've suffered for the
fulfillment of false
promises...
...but maybe, just
maybe, "He" will
keep "His" word
