Alice And Me

Many people say, I lead to wrong direction
Many things say, I lead to wrong conclusions
What am I?
The Cheshire Cat.
My dear Alice, how I love thee
She is my forbidden fruit
And I am her pet
To always be at her side
To never say she loves me
She keeps me at a distance
I love her so much though
Many people say, that I can’t love but obsess
Many things say, I am Mad as a Hatter
What am I?
The Mad Hatter.
To always be a different individual
To always have the heart to say no and move on
To always watch love pass me as I drink tea on the veranda.
I watch the Cheshire love his Alice
But she always keeps him distance
If she commits she’ll be stuck with that cat forever
Without her knowing,
We secretly know, she is always going to be with that cat
My dear Alice how I love thee
Come tell me your day as I climb up a tree
My dear Alice how I truly think she loves me
But how can it be?
I am me.
A Cheshire cat
Unloved by everyone…
Hated by others
So lonely, until she came along
My dear Alice, how I love thee
I keep our dream nuzzled in my heart
For one day they’ll come true
My dear Alice
It hurts me to know that you don’t admit that you love me
My dear Alice how I love thee
As I sit next to her on the park bench
As she cries about a boy she never loved
I sit beside her and say
My dear Alice how I love thee
Why don’t you stay with me

I like the fact of relating it to a fantasy story. The emotions of the cat towards Alice are a fantasy, becase he believes that Alice will never love him back. I don't know if that was your true intentons, but that's what i picked up. Very good!

I thank thee on how it came out in your mind. In my mind. The cat is longing for Alice's love. In the end...we'll that's a sequel. Idk what will happen in that one. But I hope it turns out good.
